Our Story

Our Story

Quinn & Brittany Epperly

Football and fashion, not real estate, are the career paths that Quinn and I were pursuing postcollege. But, three years ago, while newly engaged, we were looking for flexible work options, since we did not know where Quinn’s football career would take us.

In between football teams and tryouts, Quinn had the opportunity to join his father working on some investment properties. While they were renovating a home, they asked me to come and look at the kitchen for ideas and options on remodeling it. I had a clear idea of what they should do right away, and instead of just offering my opinion, I ended up overseeing the entire remodel. I knew then that I was hooked, and we decided that this is the path we wanted to pursue!

Soon after, we were married, purchased our first property and I took on the real estate
business full-time. Many mistakes and lots of learning later, we sold our first house and there was no turning back. Six flips, and a year later, Quinn joined full-time. Fast forward two more years and here we are! After Quinn came on full-time, we grew and expanded on a whole new level, and QB Renovations started unfolding into what it is today. We have doubled in work and introduced long term rentals to our portfolio, in addition to remodels.

In 2019, we opened our first Airbnbs, which have been some of the most fun and exciting
projects for us so far. We are loving every minute of this wild ride we are on together and
cannot wait to see what the future has in store. It is our dream to continue creating dream homes and unique stays for people living in and visiting our beloved city of Knoxville, TN.

All the best from our family to yours,
Quinn and Brittany Epperly

Brittany Epperly

Brittany Epperly is Co-Founder, COO, Head of Design, Project Manager, team cheerleader and
whatever other title is required to make things happen. She loves working hands on with her
crew and being at the projects as much as possible.

Brittany attended Samford University on a soccer scholarship where she studied entrepreneurship and marketing. After earning her degree, she headed to New York to pursue a career in fashion. It did not take long to realize that fashion was not the world she wanted to be in, nor was New York the place she wanted to build a life.

In 2016, she moved back to Knoxville and worked in business development alongside her mom, dad, and older sister. This move led her to her engagement to Quinn and the start of QB Renovations.

Brittany enjoys constant change, creativity and design, as well as creating systems and
processes. So, when real estate was introduced it quickly all came together for her. She was able to let her creative side have fun, while her business side kept projects on track and within budget.

Growing up, Brittany saw her parents work and build a business together as best friends for over 20 years. Now, she lives her dream working alongside her husband, Quinn.

"The Lord has been taking us on a the journey of a lifetime since the day we said "I do" and we are just along for the ride. This business is just the vehicle for God to take us wherever he wants us to go to expand His Kingdom. We are so thankful to be trusted with this adventure and are doing our best to use this business to change the lives of those around us. Thank you for following along and getting to know us a little better." - Brittany

Quinn

Quinn

Quinn Epperly

Quinn Epperly is Co-Founder, CEO, CFO, head of acquisitions, chief of calming Brittany down, and whatever else is needed to keep QB Renovations running at its best. Quinn loves the research and hunt to find the next project.

After attending Princeton University, where he played football for 4 years, Quinn graduated with a degree in Sociology and began his quest to play in the NFL. After an injury took him out for most of his senior season, Quinn became his own agent to get his name out to NFL teams. This taught Quinn communication skills and perseverance, as he would often sit down for hours each day and cold call teams, coaches, and scouts.

He had a few opportunities with the NFL, CFL, and even played in Germany for 3 months.
However, he never stayed with any of the teams long-term and still needed to make an income. After working a few 9-5 jobs, while still pursuing football, Quinn quickly realized that a normal work-life was hindering him from fully pursuing his football dreams.

Around this same time his father began investing in real estate. Quinn came on board with his dad as a mentee and strong manual labor. After seeing the potential financial returns, flexibility of schedule, and the ability to create something as a couple, QB Renovations began its inception.

What it would become, neither Quinn or Brittany would have ever expected. The journey that Quinn and Brittany have been on is anything but conventional, and they would have it no other way.
